I have Sp2 disk, now what?

Hi everyone,
I have the SP2 cd, what do I need to do before install in some simple
1..2..3..steps please. I have Zone Alarm 4.5.594.000 & Norton Antivirus.
Xp firewall is off & I do windows updates manually.

Hi

Before installation, run any spyware programs that you have, also run NAV,
run Disk Cleanup and defrag the hard disk/partition. After that, and so
long as you are not connected to the Internet, disable Norton AV &
ZoneAlarm, then put the SP2 CD into the cd drive. The installation should
start automatically.

Strongly suggest you do the recommended backup just in case you are one of
the less lucky ones.
