SPECS:
OS: Win XP
AV software: AVG Free
Anti-spyware software: Windows Defender
wireless connection from dsl router
1024 MB phys memory
Pentium Core Duo 1.66Ghz
Every time new updates are installed from windows or anything else I get the NT Authority/systems window that says there has been a problem with C:/WINDOWS/System32/services.exe with error code -1073741819 and it shuts down after 1min. This has happened many times and I have to go into safe mode and use system restore to get it working again... except this time it didnt work. Is it the W32.Blaster.Worm virus? I've tried to search for a fix but couldnt find one that was recent. I kindof know what I'm doing but need help.
UPDATE: I tried using the symantec W32.blaster.worm removal tool, but it didnt find anything.
