I upgraded to internet Explorer 6.0, once I got my cable
modem hooked up, and I have no browser window (where I
can type in websites and URL's - I have to "google" it
when I want to go to a site that is not already one of my
favorites). Does anyone have any ideas of what may have
caused this? I used to have the browser window before
the upgrade.

Did you try going to the "View" pulldown menu,
selecting "Toolbars", and then putting a check next
to "Address Bar" ????

Click the View Menu, then hold the mouse pointer over the
Toolbars item to display a cascading menu which will open
to the right. See the Address Bar item? (it's the second
one down on the cascading menu) If it doesn't have a
check mark next to it, that's your problem. Click once on
the Address Bar item and a check mark should appear.
