I have lost my thumbnail preview

Hello all,
I did a HD partition the other day and have since lost my
thumbnail preview of .gif and .jpg files when viewing
large icons in Explorer. My associations are good, and
interestingly I can see .psd and .jpeg.

Any suggestions?
