I have lock-ups in 6.0 while browsing! help!

Ok ever since I updated it has been locking up either
with the hourglass or or just the pointer, it will
basically just sit there until it "decides" it wants to
load the page and then it wakes up and loads. I tried
going back to the previous version of internet explorer
to no avail. This is not the network I know that for a
fact it is the browser.
