First, since you started a new thread, no one knows what the "similar
problem" might be. With something as broad as a lost network connection, it
could be anything: a bad network card, a bad cable, a unplugged cable, a bad
port on the hub or router, a problem with network settings, a network
conflict, corrupted network files, corrupted OS files, corrupted driver
files, virus and/or spyware clogging the computer. firewall settings,
corrupted firewall software, user restrictions...there are probably more.

If you don't have anything more specific, you're just going to have to start
troubleshooting each possibility.

If you aren't running current, updated antivirus software, it's very likely
that you have one or more viruses, and you have more problems that just a
network glitch.

There are many spyware removal tools. I suggest both Ad-Aware and Spybot
Search & Destroy.

Excuse me for not being descriptive enough. This was the first time using
this functionality of technet. Anyway, It is not hardware related I check
all the hardware possibilites. I don't know how tell if the port is being
cloged by a virus or spyware/ adware. Is there a way to determine this.
