For some reason i cannot gain access to my remote website. The hosting
server is in good health, and i have the right user name and password and
such. There might be a probem with the fact that i started off using IE with
the website and then after i set it up and went back to it a few times, it
wouldn't allow me after that and the icons representing the web page files in
their respection folder were Ffox icons. That probably isn't it, but i don't
know what else is wrong. I tried opening the site in IE and then going to
file>edit in Frontpage, but that didn't seem to do anything. Another
problem, which is a direct affect of not gaining access, is that whether in
frontpage, or out, i cannot access the web site through "My Network Places."
I don't know why it is denying my username and password, and the
trouble-shooting tips that it gives have been looked into (by myself) and not
the problem. My information is correct and i have called the hosting website
to verify my password and junk and to test the darn server everything was ok
and they resent my password, even though it was correct.

Explain what error you are getting and when
- Do you get the login dialog and it rejects your uid/password
Try deleting the site from Network Places and the opening it using
File Open Site and typing the URL in the form
http://www.yoursite.com/

YEA....i'm retarded. I had the right username, but i guess everyone who has
access to the server has a default username and it was something EQUALLY
retarded-like "webmaster." i wasted SSOO many seconds of my life trying to
figure out what the problem was with this darn thing...ug
