Over the course of this weekend... something happened to my computer... I'm
not sure what, but the end result was that I had to remove an older IDE hdd
and redo my new SATA drives and start from scratch.
I have a genuine Microsoft version of XP sp2, running on an Athlon 3300+
64-bit x2 cpu on a ubit mobo with a 250gb hdd (sata) and a 300gb hdd (sata)
Here's the question... after reinstalling XP 3 times... (problem 1)I can't
get Norton System Works Premier 2005 to perform a live update.. it says that
it cannot reach the webiste.. but if I go there directly, and do what it says
(which is run live update from outside of the Norton interface.. which also
doesn't work, because it's just re-installing inside the NOrton shell
anyway)and (problem # 2) When I try to install WMP10, I get an error message
that says that this version of Microsoft technologies isn't supported by my
version of Windows... any answers?
