I have a problem

L

Lane

My class is doing a project on Powerpoint 2000 and we are
saving the presentations on a 250 MB Zip drive. Some of
the presentations open just fine but many others will not
open at all. The messege we recieve is as follows:

"Powerpoint can't open the type of file represented by
D:/file.ppt."

Please help us with this problem. We need to finsih these
projects within the next 3 days.

Thanks,
Lane

First off - NEVER save a presentation to or open from anything but the hard
drive! Save it to your "C" drive then copy it to your Zip drive using
Windows Explorer. Reason being, the error messages you are getting. Not
sure if your presentation is corrupt or what. have you tried saving it to
My Documents and opening it up there?

Yes, I have tried saving it to
My Documents and opening it up there and it did not work.
So their is no way to open up my presentations at all?
