Ok, my camera came with an IEEE 1394 cable to hook up to my computer to
capture video. The only problem is that my computer didn't have a 1394 port.
So I get on ebay and order a cable in which one side is 1394 and the other
side is USB. I wait a week to get this cable, and it finally gets here
today. I hook up the cable to camera and computer and what do you know, it
still doesn't work. My laptop and my desktop both tell me the same thing.
It doesn't recognize the USB device and I can't get anything to work on
Windows Movie Maker. Can someone tell me what I should do or give me any
insight whatsoever into what I'm doing wrong. As you can tell I'm new to the
movie making thing and any help at all would be appreciated, thanks . . .
