Everything I goto their site, it always changes! Now I can't even find
driver section from the front page! I remember they use to have the mouse
over link and you have follow each path as you move your mouse over and then
it would all close because your mouse went outside of it! They think its
cute to rearrange things, well it sux!
Sorry, just had to rant

You must not have looked very hard then. It clearly says "Drivers and
software" on the horizontal menu bar ;-)

What browser are you using....

Some scripts have a problem with browsers like mozilla!

Hmmm...I'm looking very hard, there's no horizontal menu bar. All it
has is more like corporate advertising, news about first quarter
earnings, investors, careers , etc on top.
I've tried using www.atit.com and www.atitech.com, both the same. And
i'm using IE6.0

But thanks partickp for the link:-)

Do you have Javascript disabled? If so I believe you need to enable it.

In any case the direct link to the driver page is

At www.ati.com, with java enabled,

Do you have java enabled or java_script_ enabled? They're not the same.

on the bar, reading from the left,
I see:

Home, Company Information, Contact ATI, Careers, Investors,
Developers, Get in the Game, Select a Country, and Search.

No "Drivers and software" anywhere in sight.

There should be another bar visible above that.

This might be a stupid question...have you tried www.ati.com ? Not sure
which country you are in, but I see it plain as day: "Drivers and
Software".

Do you have Norton Internet Security/Personal Firewall? If so, then there
is a known issue with ATI's Web site. Disable the ad blocking or make
a rule to permit the ads.

Heh, I just mispelled it in haste. It was www.ati.com that I tried. I
think its my java not being enabled. Caused I just reinstalled XP.

Thanks!

No "Drivers and software" anywhere in sight.

Nothing called Support. Nothing called Products. They've made the home
page nothing but an advertisement to promote what ATI chooses, and useless
as a guide for anyone seeking reference information.

One must blindly click on things, running up dead alleys, before finding a
path to what one is looking for, by dumb luck.

Along the left side, near the bottom, there is an invitation to download
Catalyst 3.9. That's all.

I agree with the poster who started this thread.

This is using MSIE version 6 with all updates, running XP Home SP1 with all
updates.

That's it. If I disable NIS, I get the bar I was missing.

ATI should redesign its page so the bar is not perceived by NIS as an ad.

Or.....you could choose to not use crapware sold by Symantec. But, as it's
a personal choice, it's also sounding like a personal problem ;)

OMG!!! norton messed something up?

me.

Thanks a lot!

It is already a known issue to Symantec. There will be a fix for it.
For now, just permit ads for ati.com.

Yeah... ZoneAlarm is free and much better. I used Norton Firewall for
2+ years, but it failed me... It didn't block programs I TOLD it to
block.... ZoneAlarm.. easier, does the job. www.zonealarm.com
