I belive its a DVI-I to sub Connector.

Ive just got my cable connected to the VGA conector on my card.

So if i connect the vGA cable to this connector then connect it to the
DVI connector on my card, what will that do ??/

Asumming i'am reading this right and you can do this :)

Ill give it a go and see if it makes any differnce.

Thanks.

With the adaptor and two VGA monitors you can run multiple monitors from the
one display card...

ASFAIK When they supply an adaptor you can always run the DVI-I output with
a VGA monitor, often thou the DVI output is digital O/P only. So needs a DVI
display.

Yeah tried it with my Svga monitor, its digital well i suppoose the
controls are.

The monitors green light came on but no picture :)

Took it off and started her up again no harm done.

DVI ??? thats just for LCD displays.

How about normal CRT momitors ??.

Thinking of getting a Sony 21 inch flatscreen CRT monitor, could i use
DVI on that with my card ??

Would the picture be better >>>>???

Thanks for your help.

Bye.

Do any CRT monitors come with DVI ??

Would it make the picture any better ?
