Ok here we go. I will try to explaine it clearly.
I have 2 displays. 1 is on an AGP card, the other is on a
PCI card. All was fine for the last 2 years. I tried a
different DVD software than I had been using. THe problem
was that it tried to center the picture across both
displays.
So I disable the second display and reboot. After watching
the movie, I go to re-enable the second display and I can
not.
Reboot. still cant enable it. uninstall the DVD software.
Reboot, Still cant.
I can remove the AGP card, and the computer will boot up
just fine on the PCI monitor. Put it cabk in, and can not
do the dual monitor thing.
I have downloaded the latest drivers and tried again, same.
I am sure that something is wacked in the registry, but I
dont know what.
I am using PX Pro, was not using the resture point stuff,
so I cant go back with that.
any ideas?
