While I was there (Maplin) I saw a 3.5 digit multi meter for 5.99 UKP
with transistor tester, however I had just bought one with out the TT bit
from Aldi for the same price :O|

Still its a nice meter and it works fine.

I will be testing my PSU with it soon.

And also frying my computer no doubt :O|

Aargh! Inflation! A while back I bought 2 of them for 4.99!

You can also pay £100+ if you want.

Mind did come with panasonic batterie(s) included though
But I dont think they are expensive

Sorry, I meant Maplin DMMs M-830B. Normally 9.99 each, in January sale they
were doing them for 4.99 a pair!

Its funny how the cheapest on there web site is about £10.

Incidently will yours measure 20Amps's AC aand DC? Mine will,
which surprised me a little.
Actually I found the M-830B and it measures 10A

It would be nice to have the trasistor test though.

But I can't grumble at the price, not much more than a packet
of cigarettes.
