Our domain policy sets out proxy server and appropriate
settings. I would like to have a subset of users in an OU
that I want to clear the proxy server settings for so that
they are not required to go through the proxy. This is
required due to some NT authentication issues with going
through a proxy server. I am try to do this by creating a
group policy and linking it to this specific sub OU. The
problem that I am having is that when I "uncheck" the box
within the group policy to "not" use the proxy server it
thinks that the group policy is empty so what happens is
that the domain policy overrides.
I have posted this once before and I have gotten a
response that the domain policy will override but I have
it set to not be enforced. That is not the issue. The
issue is that it thinks that there are no settinsg to set
because the proxy being unchecked is the default. I cannot
belive I am the first to see this problem. Any help
appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.
