I get the same e-mails over and over

I have two accounts in my outlook. One I just added and for some reason the
new one keeps retrieving the same e-mails over and over

Yes it is. I access this e-mail from two different computers. My computer at work has the same settings but it does not get the e-mails over and over. Also for some reason on this computer when I hit Send/rec. it only gets about 11 of 28 emails and then has an error. Outlook won't shut down either. I'm not sure what the problem is but it's starting to drive me crazy!
