OMG just thought I would share my embarressment with you all on how dopey I am.
Recently my second PC was connected via a ethernet cable. Nothing wrong with that I hear you all say, but wait, I aint finished yet. I decided last night to put in a wireless card while I had a friend here to make it easier for me to move around when playing ghost recon. So off to work I get.
Would it work? Would it hell!
it would find the router and signal strength fine however when it came to actually connecting to give me a internet connection and network function pffft!
It has taken me 6 hours to figure out why it wouldnt connect to network or even the net and yet see the signal from router..
Wait for it!!
I had the Wireless card access list switched on in Router and it was only set up for my Laptop.
OMG DOH! Call me a spaz or what. Anyway all working fine now. May that be a lesson learned for all of us. Well ok just for me
