I get an error when downloading an Excel template, help?

I'm getting the same error which says,
"MS Excel has encountered an error and needs to close". I have enabled
cookies, activex control and nothing seems to help. A couple of months ago,
I did not have this problem. I am able to download MS Word templates and
clip art photos but I cannot download MS Excel templates.
