The above url shows a file that I make available to other Amateur Radio
Operators.
I forgot how to write it in an email so that instead of opening their
browser, clicking on it will automatically download the file to their
computer.

It's hell to get old.:-((
Please and thank you

Simplest just to drag it to your Email and send it as an attachment
(e.g. from an Explorer window). If it is very big and sparse you
might consider zipping it and then sending the compressed file
instead.

I didn't phrase my question properly.
I 'thought' there was a way to write it as a link and the reader could
download the file by clicking on it.
maybe that only works with other types of files????

It's small, just a one page text file.
Most just view it, but someone may have wanted to dload it to save on
connection costs.

I'm usually far to ignorant to be this confuses.

sorry to bother you guys.
