So you want your customer to take the trouble of copying and pasting the
address? I don't!

To win customers, you should make their life easier however you can. I
know you are concerned about spam but in the 21st century, spam can be
controlled! I'd rather dollars even if that means my mail box will
receive 150 useless emails!

And by controlled, you must mean that there is more spam than ever, costing
businesses record amounts of time and money??

Wendy,
Your banner headline with your company name is different on each page. You
should fix this. For consistancy, try using the Dynamic Web Template. Your
pages are fairly simple at this point, so it would be easy for you to re-do
and use the template. What it does for you is, it keeps certain information
(links, buttons, banner or whathave you) that you put on every page on a
template that you attach to your pages. There is an "editable region" (you
can have more than one of these too), for the infromation that changes from
page to page. When you create a new page, or ad content to an existing page,
you work in the "editable region only". This saves you from recreating all
the other stuff on every page you create. Great way to go. I use it on my
site: www.kinsmantile.com

Did I say that? No.

If you want email, then use a form and server-scripting to send it. It can
be done spam proof.

The mailto: option is notoriously unreliable.

Correct but looking at Wendy's webpage, you can't assume that her
knowledge of form and server-scripting is as good as yours. She had a
very simple problem with her webpage and it took her nearly a week to
fix it. Now how is she going to start with form and server-scripting
without further training? She should be guided to do basic things until
she is comfortable to handle something more.

You guys seem to enjoy attacking new users who are mainly self
starters. SHOWING OFF is only helping to deter people from using these
groups.

Exactly because I don't like to show off!! I like to help without
patronizing or insulting anyone. Everything is judged on merits.
Perhaps, if I was dealing with you, my message would have included
advanced scripts and links to resources.

Hope this proved useful.

Nobody attacked her, in fact she didn't even bring up the email issue...you
did.
