i.e will not finish loading page

i.e. will locate the site and beginn to download the page,
but will hang and never finish loading it. It doesn't even
time out with a page not found error. MSN and netscape
work fine, so I know it is not a connection issue. I've
cleared the temp folders and everything, so I'm not sure
where to go from here. I'm running on Windows XP, so I
can't uninstall and reinstall it either. Any ideas?
