I have had a system lockup while accessing a web site.
Since this event I have been unable to acess Explorer.
On trying to start up I.E. I get the following error message:-
IEXPLORE.EXE - Application error
The application failrd to initialize properly (0xc0000005) Click ok to
terminate the application.
I am running 2000 SP4 with I.E. 6 sp1.
Someone has tried to reload I.E for me but without any success.
Any ideas?

Go to Start | Run and type
regedit
and press <Enter>.
In the left column navigate to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RPCKDM]
and highlight it. Right click it and select Export, giving it a name you
can remember. Then right click it again and select Delete.

Hi,
Select this key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RPCKDM]
then go to Registry (on the toolbar) then Export.

Thanks, that seemed to do the trick.
