I.E blocks for up to a minute while connection is running just fine. What cause?

Hi, I would appreciate any feedback from someone whom
encountered the same problem.

I am running on Win 98 with explorer 6.0. I checked with
my internet high speed provider and the connection is just
fine.

I know it is fine since I can send and recieve e-mails
with outlook while my browser is blocked. It blocks at
random for periods of up to a couple of minuts.

What is causing this? What can I do?

Henri is ALWAYS yelling SPYWARE, whether relevant or not.

You should disable any unused NETWORK card, not video card.
