I've got a PC that has I.E. on XP Pro that when you have multiple I.E.
windows open, they go dead (non-responding mode) and they say about: blank
and the page goes to a page like that of one that couldn't find a web site.
I've ran all kinds of spyware scanners, hijack this, and the system is clean
as far as I can tell of the CoolWebSearch hijacker that creates the about:
blank issues. I.E. at this point of non-responsiveness goes completely dead
across the board and Microsofts cheesy reporting feature pops up. You then
have to go into Task Manager and end task (force close) the non-responding
I.E. windows like 3 or 4 times before they will finally shut down.
Anybody got any clues on how to repair I.E.?
