I don't want to save settings

I am having trouble with a program to recode vids. I reinstalled it
and the settings I made were still there when I put it back on. I
removed the reg folder, and program folder where they resided in. Is
there a folder somewhere that keeps settings and how do I clear that
for a clean install.
