I just formatted my hard drive, using windows xp pro sp1
ie 6, I dont want my favorites alphebitezed, I have so
many any new favorites i add used to go to the bottom,
then I can find the recent ones quickly. Now it doesnt
do that anymore, it alphebetizes them and I dont want
that, how do I change that?

There must be a value stuck in registry. Delete the value for IE menu order

Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
In Registry Editor, locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\MenuOrder\Favorites\Menu

In the right pane, right click the Order value, and then click Delete.

If you have more than 193 favorites in the main list IE has problems with
the order. Create sub-folders by subject and move less used favorites to
the sub-folders.
