I am setting up Win2000 on an embedded machine. I neither want nor need a
page file, yet every time I boot I get the "helpful" message that there is
no pagefile and I should create one in the system control panel.

How do I disable this?

As far as I can tell, Windows 2000 is written to demand
one, whether it needs one or not.
Maybe you can figure out a way to create a RAMDISK and put
the pagefile there. I think the minimum pagefile for
Windows 2000 is 20MB, but I might have that wrong.
