Hey, this is my first post... I came on here cause it looks like you guys know what your talking about.

Ok I think I have that spyfalcon thing... I unistalled that and the triangle went away, now I have that handicap sign and the circle with a slash.

I have norton... and Now it says I have to re-install that because the "repair feature does not work" and everytime I start teh computer it pops up and there website just said completly uninstall then re-install.. so I will do that shortly...

I will be using Ad-aware in a moment so hopefully that does something

I used Hijack like every one else
Please help, This is starting to **** me off as I am sure everyone else that has the problem and helping others..so Thank you

Hi michael4589, I'm assuming you fixed the Ad-aware detected entries?

OK - you have a few nasties on your system.

Firstly turn OFF system restore, then delete the following HijackThis entries:

O2 - BHO: Nothing - {f79fd28e-36ee-4989-aa61-9dd8e30a82fa} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpBAC2.tmp

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)

O3 - Toolbar: Adobe PDF - {47833539-D0C5-4125-9FA8-0819E2EAAC93} - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Acrobat\AcroIEFavClient.dll (file missing)

O3 - Toolbar: Norton AntiVirus - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - C:\Program Files\Norton SystemWorks\Norton AntiVirus\NavShExt.dll (file missing)

This is not good either, it is to do with Sonys DRM 'Rootkit' however DON'T delete it, read: http://castlecops.com/o23list-1210.html

O23 - Service: XCP CD Proxy (CD_Proxy) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\CDProxyServ.exe

Then follow the fixes HERE to the letter, and finally run CCleaner (untick the Yahoo taskbar install option) to get rid of any rubbish left behind.

Turn System Restore back on :thumb:

Norton AV is rubbish, you will note the majority of folks suffering these problems have it installed - don't bother re-installing it - uninstall it (which can be a pain in itself  ) and put on a good AV such as Kaspersky, or a free one like AntiVir ;)
