But a Stop Error decited to come around and I need to know if my OS may need
to be reinstalled because of it,

Hi Jeff,
Are you using User Profile Hive Cleanup?, if yes please be sure you have the
latest version installed on your system not the older one.
Also check your Drivers they are up to date it may be Hardware issues beside
software, did you have any software/Haredware installed recently?.
