whenever i type something in, such as a subject to look
for on the net, it remembers it, so if you double-click
that same box later, it shows everything that has been
searched for. At first i thought it was yahoo saving it,
but it does it with all the boxes i write in. The funny
thing is, the boxes dont even have the little down arrow
on the right side of them? can anyone help??Please send
the answer to my email!

Thanks,

Hello,

Not e-mailed.

After you double-click in the box, postion the mouse on the first entry (don't click on it), hold down the delete key until the list is cleared. If it is a login box with a corresponding password, you will be prompted about deleting it. The choice is yours.

You can also go into Tools | Internet Options | Content and change the settings for "AutoComplete".

Regards,

1/
go start/control panel/network and internet connections/
go internet options/content tab/
go personsl information section/
go autocomplete/
note
you can now make whatever changes you want/
also
2/
go general tab/
go history section/
note
you can now clear the 'history of viewed pages - and
set the - 'days to keep pages in history' - fr
'00 to 99'/00-being instant clearing/
3/
while on this 'general tab page' - you may want to
'delete cookies' and 'delete temp files' - which
were accumulated in your browsing/surfing
and
take it fr there

God Bless
