I have a problem and I hope you all can help me. I got
home from school turned on my computer and all of my
settings and desktop icons and folders that i created were
gone. I now cannot install or delete or save over
anything because it says that I do not have administrative
priviliges! Can somebody help me

Try treating this as a corrupt profile as outlined in the following
Knowledge Base Article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q318011

Note, you will need to go to Safe Mode to do this: Boot the system, start
tapping F8, when the menu appears, select Safe Mode and press enter. When
you get to Safe Mode, use the user account named Administrator as listed
when you get there. This is the hidden system admin account and most users
have not created a password for this account. If that is the case, leave
the password blank and press enter to enter Safe Mode.
