i do not have a speech recognition tab

as above,when i enter the speech icon,there is no speech recognition
tab,which is essential for me to make my microphone work

What about microsoft works?? office didnt come with my PC when i bought it
but i have installed microsoft works.
Have you got a speech recognition tab in the speech menu??becuase the only
way i used to be able to get my mic to work is by using the ''train
microphone'' option and now it isnt there anymore
