I never recieved an e-mail with a link for Vista Build 5536. I have only ever
recieved an e-mail for Vista Build 5384. I found the link for 5536, but it
says it has reached its capacity and isn't taking anymore downloads. Have I
been removed from the beta program or something? Has this happened to anyone
else?

The email was sent out to a select few of the CPP. Not everyone received an email. You should be notified when RC1 is released though.

You'll still get notice of when the official RC1 comes out. The short window
5536 release was actually a "pre" RC1 release. I've heard the real RC1 will
be out in a week or two.

By the way, I regularly check out Paul Thurrott's Vista preview site for
info. I've heard all of the comments that he's an MS apologist/Apple basher,
but whatever. It's a source for Vista info, which is all I'm looking for.

Phew! As long as it was normal. I got myself worried for a little. lol

Thank you both very much for your help. =)

Thurott isn't all that bad... He even sticks up for Apple and bashes MS in
some situations. But with all the bashing Apple does, someone has to defend
us (the Windows Consortium)

Sometimes PT thinks he's another Michael Moore. I hear that Paul is even
doing a documentary on MS titled "Fahrenheit 1024x768."
