I set up my start up routine on my mdb before creating an mde. Now I can't
get back into my mdb to make modifications. Is there any way to get back into
it? Of course I turned of the F11 like a jackass.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks, Rob

Try holding down the Shift key when opening the file, continue to hold
it down until the file is loaded.

If you have not run a special routine to disable the Shift key then
this will work.

I tried and it still doesn't get me to the database window. I don't recall
setting any special routines. On the start up menu I made it so only the
system tool bars were available and I disabled the F11 key. Any other
suggestions? Thanks, Rob

When the database opens after you've been holding down the Shift key, go to
Tools | Startup and reselect the ability to use F11 key.

When I set up the start-up dialog box I choose to only see the systems tool
bars. so I can't see the Toos | Startup choice. When it starts up I still get
nothing but the form that it usually startsup with.

Am I totally f...d here. Thanks, Rob

I got it. I was holding down the shift key + the F11 key. What a dope. Thanks
