i.d of processes in task manager

i seem to have a lot of processes running. can anyone help identify goos from bad and reccommend software for removal. i already have adaware and spybot. eg of processes :- wvauclt.exe, rnatchk.exe, ctfmon.exe, IAMAPP.EXE, Navapw32.exe, qttask.exe, realsched.exe, SOUNDMAN.EXE, ATRACK.EXE, Svchost.exe, nvsvc.32.exe, NISUM.EXE, SAgent.exe to name but a few. i have atotal of 33 running now but am only using internet explorer.
