I come here to get help and now all I get are Virus emails !!!

What the F*CK is going on with this tech support site?

I come here to get
I posted a message at: 12/29/2003 1:10:13 PM
concerning DNS problems using ICS and now, I guess because
I was stupid enough to trust Microsoft to not publish my
email, I am getting at least 15 virus messages a day from
either this site or some malicious scumbag that trolls
sites like this looking for victims.

The worst part is that they look like official Microsoft
Messages.

I demand that you remove my email address from your system.
You can find my email by referring to the time posted above!
 
Microsoft did not publish your email; you posted, through a web portal on
Microsoft's site-- designed to allow a greater number of people access to
free peer-to-peer support newsgroups-- to Usenet, your real email address
and since it is a public resource (archived by such sites as Google) and
open for everyone to see, spammers and virus distributors and such regularly
harvest email addresses on Usenet and you have obviously experienced this.

Newgroups are designed to be posted and responded to, and a valid email
address is not required.

I thought Microsoft were the "experts" on all this. If
they knew half what they claim they wouldn't allow emails
to be posted in the first place. I still hold them
responsible.

I'm sure. The Internet has gone to hell in a handbasket
when companies like Microsoft know full well the
ramifacations of their actions in allowing the publishing
of email addresses yet do it anyway. Basically they are
grossly incompetent or malicious, take your pick.
 
I simply dont even open the emails I get from "supposid Microsoft"
