I can't update my computer, I'm missing tons of windows files ...e

I haven't been hook to internet in 2 yrs. Now I can't update. Missing files
needed to use microsoft update and when i say install missing
files...everything freezes. But thats not all I have loads of prob. that i
know can't be good! I haven't found one tiny solution for ANY of them. Been
at it for two days...I am absolutely at the end of my
rope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
