I can't update my access data page

I have created a data access page for the web in my database based on a
simple table (control source) with a primary index, but it won't let me
update the data in view.
 
Be sure that you have an element bound to the primary key field on the data
page (even if that element is invisible). And be sure that the Unique
Recordset property has a value for the page.
 
This is the first time in 10 years I've used this help venue. Normally I
would spend hours using microsoft help from access until I finally stumbled
across the correct answer. This was great -- went to bed frustrated, woke up
with an answer. Will use it again. Thanks Ken
