I CAN'T UNINSTALL SOME PROGRAMS!!!

I can't seem to uninstall spykiller and spybot! I have
tred to delete them from my pc programs but for some
reason they still seem to be working. I seem to think I
might have a virus that allows these programs to continue
to run. I know I have even visited there home sites and
get no help.... PLEASE HELP BEFORE I SCREAM AND LOSE IT
TOTALLY.......I have even tryed to restore my PC to an
earlier setting and that don't work!!!!

Are you deleting the entry from your programs list or

are you uninstalling them through add/remove?????????
