I can't uninstall kerio firewall !!

version 4.16. When I try to uninstall he tells me to put installation
CD in my drive or to insert path to *.msi instaler.
I have downloaded and installed "kerio-pf-4.0.16-en-win.exe" from their
web site, not from CD. I've tried to instal and uninstall on my test
partition with same OS (WinXP) and everything works smoothly.
I wanted to install Zone Alarm but it tells me that I must uninstall Kerio
first and then proceed with ZA installatin.
I don't have any clue what could be the problem, any ideas ?

You might try installing 4.0.16 again, and then try to uninstall it.
Otherwise you might have to manually remove entries from the registry
and delete files and so on.

Try the kerio forum also. They might be able to help.

Download Total Uninstall. Reinstall Kerio letting TU trace its
installation. Uninstall using TU. All gone.

On my system, the path to the MSI folder is:

C:\WINDOWS\Installer

You might try looking in the XP equivalent and browse to the various
files within it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but TU traces the diffences of your harddrive and your
registry before and after the install process. So, if there are files and
registry data before AND after the install process, like it in this case -
than it will NOT work.

Point taken. I get a choice on files to delete or not after install since
it will track all files installed.
