I CAN'T TURN OFF MY PC!

Hi!
My english is very bad, sorry. i'm chilean.
I have an atx gabinet but my computer don't turn off
after shutdown since winxp professional.

were is my problem???
in some place a guy recommends me the edit a windows
registry, but this can't fixed the problem.
