I WANT A FORM THAT I CAN VIEW INFORMATION ON A SUBFORM. I HAVE IT ALL SET
UP, BUT IF I DON'T PUT THE COMBO BOX BACK ON THE FIRST ENTRY BEFORE I CLOSE
THE FORM, THE DATA IN MY TABLE CHANGES. I DON'T WANT MY TABLE TO CHANGE.
HOW CAN I VIEW THE INFORMATION USING A COMBO BOX AND SUB FORM WITHOUT
CHANGING THE INFORMATION IN THE TABLE THE COMBO BOX IS LINKED TO?

ComboBoxes can be used to change data or to navigate. Sounds like you have
the former, but want the latter. A ComboBox that is used to navigate should
be unbound meaning that it has no ControlSource property entry.

How do I change it from bound to unbound. I can't find it on the properties
menu for the combo box.

If you read my first response again it says that they way to make a control
unbound is to have NO Entry in the ControlSource property. You will find
that property on the Data tab of the property sheet.
