I can't start up Vista

I only have one user profile and when I try to log in with my password it
starts to log me in then I get an error message stating that the logon server
is not working? I can only log on through a safe mode. What do I need to do
to be able to log back on to my normal desktop?

Since you can log on in Safe Mode, do this and go to the Control Panel User
Accounts applet. Create a new user account and then log into it normally.
Does everything work? If it does, then something you have starting up in
your original user account is preventing logon. Either find out what that
is or just copy over the data to the new account and delete the old one.

If you can't log into the new user account, then post back with some details
about the computer and its recent history. Don't forget to tell us what
antivirus/security programs you have installed and what you think its
virus/malware status is.
