I have just installed Word 2007 and am having meltdown at the differences!

one particular problem is that I cant make it show me text boundaries in a
document

Can anyone help? thanks

Click the Office button and then click Word Options. In the Advanced
category, under "Show document content," check the "Show text boundaries"
option, and click OK.

Fantastic thank you I can see this version of word being quite challenging at
first!

I may become a regular on this page.....

Shame this isn't listed as a command for adding to the QAT without the need
for a macro!

I agree. (But in practice the lack of such a command doesn't mean much to
me, since I keep the text boundaries displayed at all times.)

Thanks so much for this thread. I'm also having problems learning Word 2007,
and like you two, I aways have my text boundaries turned on, but the command
wasn't easy to find. It was much easier to find the commands you wanted in
the 2003 version.
