I receive the following error message everytime I send emails through my aapt
account via Outlook or Windows Mail
The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'Fw: Christmas
Wishes.', Account: 'mail.aapt.net.au', Server: 'mail.aapt.net.au', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '554 5.7.1
<C-59-101-19-203.hay.connect.net.au[59.101.19.203]>: Client host rejected:
(SPM:RAD) User account blocked from sending email due to policy violation -
Please contact support', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error
Number: 0x800CCC79
I have used aapt as my Service Provider for a few months. I was using
Outlook to send and receive mails. Everything was working as expected. Then
one day outlook stopped sending emails but it could receive emails.
I contacted aapt and they told me they didn't support outlook only express
and there was nothing they could do. So I changed from outlook to Windows
mail. I completed the set up which was identical to outlook and again I
received the same problem and error message.
I contacted aapt again, they asked me to log into the html mail service,
rather than windows mail and try to send the email. There were no problems.
I checked all the settings again but still the problem continued. I tried
contacting Dell and asking for assistance. They saw the error message and
told me to contact aapt.
This time I deleted the aapt account from windows mail, created a gmail
account then completed the set up in Windows mail. Everything worked, I could
send and receive email. So I tried using the aapt email address again......
you'll never guess I got the same error message again.
I contacted aapt again, they insist the account is not blocked. They asked
me to log into the html page and send an email. Again the email worked.
Then I tried to contact the "hay.connect.net.au" asking them for assistance.
They never responded.
And now I've spent another 2 hours researching the problem on the net to
discover lots of other people have a similar problem but there is NEVER a
solution.
Could somebody please help.... because if I have to call India again for
imaginary Technical help I will go postal!!
