UN-check the box that says " My server requires authentication ". See
if it's ok afterwards.
Tools > Accounts > highlight your account > Properties > Servers
....(UNcheck) >OK

Was your Internet connection being obtained from BT at the time you
got that error message?

The error message seems rather obvious: "No such user here".
I did a test send to that same recipient ([email protected]) and
got the same error. Let us know if sending to other recipients also fails.

Go to windows mail- click tools- click accounts- then check the active
directory -then properties- look for the e-mail options and uncheck the check
these names against this server. I hope this helps, it worked for me.

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pop.gmail.com (3)', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol:

Sansar,
Next time please start your own thread. Don't hijack other's.
In my opinion, your pop port # is wrong. It should be 995, not 110
Here is a link showing you how to set up your account :

If POP: '_http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=86383_'

Is the email address correct - verify it carefully. Else, try enabling the
SPA ("My server requires authentication" on the Server tab in Tools -
Accounts - Properties. Otherwise, you may need to ask your work support
team how to setup.
