SMTP settings are correct. I've discussed the problem with my ISP and we've worked through the usual resetting. They claim that my problem must be software related since I can get on the web and receive email. Therefore, they say, there's nothing wrong with the modem. I had access on all three computers until a week ago when this problem occurred. I use Outlook Express but I can't send email with anything. I've tried Outlook, Eudora and even Mozilla. Incidently, I can send and access email using my ISP's Webmail site and that confirms that my I.D and password are correct
Still hoping for some assistance. I even brought in one of those yellow pages people who claim to be able to repair computers but they turned out to know less than I do.

Check that your SMTP settings are correct (from

You may need to get this information from your ISP
Unfortunately, you don't say how you access/send mail
(outlook, webmail etc), who your ISP is or whether this
problem has only just occurred after previously working
or whether it is a new account, so any replies given can
only be very general
If you can give more details, it would help to narrow
down the proble
