I can't see anything I try to play but I hear it HELP

It started about a week ago. I've downloaded the latest
version of Windows Media PLayer, but still can't see
anything I try to play with WMP. I can use quicktime and
see it, but some things I have only play through WMP. I
don't know what to do. IS there a way to uninstall it and
reinstall it maybe? Am I missing a plugin suddenly? Help

Use GSpot to identify the codec
the movie file requires: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ and then do a
Google
search for that codec, or have a look for it here: http://www.moviecodec.com
