i cant save my display theme

every time i restary my computer, windows dafaults my desktop theme to XP
sytle and it wont save my previous theme.. the funny thing is, that this
just started happing just over the weekend.
I have tried to run regedit and make sure my values on DEword is set to 0
and that is so i know thats not the problem.... any suggetions????

Since it just started happening, try doing a System Restore to when
everything was working.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"
