I can't play any videos from my homepage or any other page. I keep getting a
message that I need macromedia flash player. I go to download it, it says I
downloaded it but nothing happens. I went to the control panel....add.delete
programs....it shows it there but no numbers opposite it. I haven't changed
anything. I can't figure it out. I did get a messafe about it couldn't locate
some kind of directory. Anyone have any ideas? I downloaded realplayer but
that won't work either.

I have a system reboot disc for XP. If I use that disc, will everything be
lost?

Go to the adobe site and find the instructions on how to completely remove
flash player. Do that and then go back to the site(after reboot) where you
can get the latest flash player. Just went through all that a few days ago
and this fixed it. Sorry I don't have the urls.

Sorry, forgot to mention, flash player can only be completely removed by the
prescribed method on the adobe site now, because of some new additions or
something.

Thanks Burgy
